 WHO WE ARE
3Sharp is a small company founded in 2002 in Redmond, Washington, by entrepreneurial-minded individuals who were-and are-excited about Microsoft communication and collaboration technologies. Since then, we've grown quite a bit, and have developed a robust business as the experts in the fields of Microsoft Exchange and Office development. We'll put our experts up to anyone's standards. We develop the best practices, and we help set the standards when it comes to Office development work.
Our focus is broad enough to ensure we keep abreast of related technologies, and narrow enough to ensure that we're the experts in what we do.
WHY WE'RE HERE
Enthusiasm. Excitement. Loving life on the cutting edge of technology. Starting a great company with limitless potential. We love what we do; we love coming to work in the morning. At the same time, we recognize that we work to live; we're here for our families and loved ones, driving the business to be profitable, smart, dynamic, and robust. It's just that we're glad we have this job. We know that the job market is good right now; we could be elsewhere if we wanted to. We don't.
WHAT WE NEED
We need smart, reliable people. We need positive people who can think well, who can develop good approaches to problems, and who can provide innovative solutions. We need people who know how to diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve and fix. We need people who are great communicators, and who can temper their technological genius with an understanding of how people work, and why our customers are in business. We need people who understand the importance and necessity of teamwork, but are equally comfortable tackling projects individually.
We deliver top-tier products to the biggest names in software. To do this, we need competence and the ability to execute: the sheer, unadulterated ability to simply Get It Done. We need employees who, through enthusiasm, intelligence, teamwork, and persistence can deliver the highest-quality solutions.
WHY YOU'D HATE IT HERE
You enjoy doing the exact same job repeatedly, month-in, month-out. Stretching your mind and experiences is simply too uncomfortable. Versatility and you have long parted ways. Your sense of personal space feels complete only when framed by the fractured landscape of cubicles. Your sense of being and identity is derived primarily from domination by pointy-haired bosses who only occasionally remember your name. You prefer the safety of obscurity of being one of thousands of SuperMegaUberCorp. Being accountable, being honest, and having personal integrity never was your strong suit.
WHY YOU'D LOVE IT HERE
We're a company interested in succeeding with you. Seriously. We want each and every member of our team to be an integral part of our success. Our company success should drive individual success and vice versa. Our goal is to eventually develop every single member of our team into "superstars" in their respective fields.
If you ever wanted to work on the latest technologies, this is the opportunity. We aren't so much living on the cutting edge of technology as we are the guys doing the cutting. We break products constantly; we investigate, find bugs, invent new ways of using these tools. We have access to products that are fresh out of the coder's oven-and then we'll add our own code, to make it that much better.
We need the inquisitiveness and occasional sheer obstinacy of inspired minds to propel us to new heights. We also believe that experience, vision, wisdom and prudence are absolutely necessary to the long term success of our company. That's a tough package-if you've got all that, we'd love to talk with you. If you've got some but not all of it, well, that's ok too, because there is one attribute that makes up for a multitude of deficiencies.
