Who we are and why we're here.

Founded in 2002 in Redmond, Washington, 3Sharp is a small company filled with entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are passionate about Microsoft communication and collaboration technologies. Since our founding, we’ve proven ourselves as experts in Microsoft SharePoint and Office development, regularly speaking at industry conferences and constantly developing best practices and creating industry standards.

We love being on the cutting edge of technology, and having the chance to shape the future. We break products constantly; we investigate, find bugs, and invent new ways of using tools. We have access to products that are fresh out of the coder's oven – and then we'll add our own code, to make it that much better.

The inquisitiveness and occasional sheer obstinacy of inspired minds help propel us to new heights. We also believe that experience, vision, wisdom, and prudence are absolutely necessary to the long term success of our company.

We look forward to coming to work every day because we love what we do. We work hard, but we also think it’s important to strike a good work-life balance, and to maintain a culture that reflects that view.

Who we need.

We are looking for bright people with innovative ideas who are passionate about using technology to create the best possible solutions for our customers. We need employees whose enthusiasm, intelligence, teamwork, and persistence pushes them to deliver the best solutions.

We need people who can diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, test, and fix problems. We need people who are great communicators, and who can temper their technological genius with an understanding of how people work, and how our customers’ businesses work. We need people who understand the importance and necessity of teamwork, but are equally comfortable tackling projects individually. We need competence and the ability to execute: the sheer, unadulterated power to simply Get It Done.

Why you'd hate it here.

You enjoy doing the exact same job for years in a row. Stretching your mind and having new experiences is simply too uncomfortable. Versatility and you have long parted ways. "Stasis" is your personal mantra. Your sense of personal space feels complete only when framed by the fractured landscape of cubicles. Your sense of being and identity is derived primarily from domination by pointy-haired bosses who only occasionally remember your name. You prefer the safety of obscurity by being one of thousands at SuperMegaUberCorp. Being accountable, being honest, and having personal integrity never were your strong suits.
